Frequently Asked Questions
Honest answers about how SnipLab works, what it delivers, and what you can expect.
What exactly is SnipLab?
SnipLab is a done-for-you podcast clipping agency. We take your long-form episodes and turn them into 10–20 edited, captioned, platform-ready short clips — every week, within 48 hours. You upload the episode. We handle everything else.
How much does SnipLab cost?
Plans start at $297/month (Starter — up to 4 episodes/month), $497/month for Growth (up to 8 episodes, recommended), and $997/month for Pro (unlimited episodes, multi-show). No setup fees, no annual contracts.
How fast is turnaround?
48 hours on Starter, 36 hours on Growth, and 24 hours on Pro — from the time you upload your episode to clips in your Google Drive folder.
What types of content do you work with?
Primarily podcasts and long-form video content. We work with video podcasts, audio-only podcasts (with audiogram or subtitle-style output), YouTube interview videos, and webinar recordings. If you're not sure if your content qualifies, the free audit is the fastest way to find out.
Do I need to tell you which moments to clip?
No. You upload the episode — that's it. Our AI scans the full episode to identify the highest-engagement moments. Our editors review and curate the top clips. You don't send timestamps, highlight lists, or creative briefs.
How many clips do I get per episode?
Starter clients receive 10–15 clips per episode. Growth clients receive 15–20. Pro clients receive 20+. Clip count depends on the length and content density of your episode — a 2-hour interview yields more than a 30-minute solo episode.
Do the clips include captions?
Yes, always. Every clip includes styled captions burned into the video and delivered as SRT files for platforms that support closed captions natively. We review caption accuracy — especially for technical terms, proper names, and niche-specific language.
What formats do you deliver?
Standard delivery is 9:16 vertical format for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Growth and Pro plans also include 1:1 square format for LinkedIn and Twitter/X. Pro plans include 16:9 landscape for YouTube and LinkedIn video.
How do you match my brand?
On your first episode, we build your Brand Kit — logo placement, color palette, font choices, caption styling, and lower-third design. That kit is applied to every clip going forward. If your brand updates, send us the new assets and we update the kit.
Where are my clips delivered?
To a shared Google Drive folder, organized by episode. Each clip is labeled by number and title. A clip summary sheet is included with suggested captions for each platform and posting priority notes.
What if I'm not happy with a clip?
We include a revision round on every delivery. If a clip doesn't land right — wrong pacing, a cut you don't like, a caption error — flag it and we'll fix it within 24 hours.
Do you post the clips for me?
No — we deliver ready-to-post clips. Scheduling and posting is yours. Growth and Pro clients receive a posting priority ranking (which clips to post first based on expected performance) to make that decision faster.
Are there long-term contracts?
No. All plans are month-to-month. Cancel anytime, no questions asked. We earn your business every month by delivering consistent quality.
